Main Efforts
Issues
- Why is my group report not being included in full
in the area meeting minutes? The issue and comment sections are being cut
out.
- 2005 registration fee of $110 is way too high. It
should be decreasing, not increasing. Fee has risen 120% in the past four
years. BPSA fee is still just $45.
- It now costs a family of three, $355 (including
leader registration) to just get their kids in the door with Scouting. And
that doesn't get them any program!
- Scouts Canada staff salaries have
risen from $8,985,000 in 2001 ($67 per kid with 133,884 kids registered)
to $11,969,000 in 2004 ($127 per kid with 94,230 kids registered).
- Scouts Canada shirt is $30, BPSA
shirt is $18.
