Winter Camping

Winter camping provides plenty of opportunity to explore unique challenges. It means keeping dry and warm, building shelters to protect you from the cold and severe elements. Careful planning must be done to avoid disastrous results.

What to wear? Staying warm and dry is the secret to making winter camping fun. Layers of loose-fitting clothing that allows moisture to move quickly away from your body, yet still protect you from the elements of wind, snow and rain.
