Pts to crews who find X
- there
are eleven spots all over the camp which contain a hidden clue
- Using
a map of the camp, their compass and an instruction set, the crews traverse the
course and find the clues
- When
they have all the clues, they unscramble the code word which unlocks the
treasure
-
Winning crew is awarded based on, correctly traversing the path in their
sequence (each crew has a unique course to cover) and unscrambling the code
word in the least amount of time.
- I
have attached an example set of directions below.

Directions |
Clue |
1 |
1.
Head North West to the Trail at the corner of Cub Field 2.
The trail heads West & then turns East 3.
The clue is along the trail |
Passing
over the wooden bridge, you will hit a road block. Over or under you
must go but don’t forget to look at the where you came from |
2 |
4.
Continue East on the trail 5.
You will need to go uphill several times |
On a
high an rocky hill, where water lies of left and right, look in the tree with
it’s arms stretched outwards |
3 |
6.
Head West back to the beginning of the trail 7.
Head South for a very short distance |
At
the lowest point of a vast field, a pit of slings and arrows lies. |
4 |
8.
Head to the South side of the Cub Field 9.
Follow the trail past a fire pit and up to the next spot |
Tread
softly in this hallowed ground, some come to knee and pray, I like to sit. |
5 |
10.
Follow the West Trail to a T junction 11.
Head South to find the next spot |
In an
spot of ceremony and fire, wooden images are frozen in time |
6 |
12.
Head South East over the hills to find the next spot |
Some
natives used to call this home but they never saw one this big! |
7 |
13.
Follow the road North to find the next spot |
With
rigging like this, you’d never be able to sail a ship. |
8 |
14.
Head |
Ask
not for whom it tolls, let’s just hope it’s supper! |
9 |
15.
Head North East for a very short distance |
Through
these gates flows all forms of nourishment |
10 |
16.
Head South to the path back to the Cub Field 17.
Look for a structure on the northern side of the field |
Strange
to find a kitchen sink not to far from a snoring wolf |
11 |
18.
Head to the East edge of the field 19.
Follow a short path to the final spot |
Land
lubbers the lot of them, using iron contraptions to move the snow or lower
the grass |
12 |
20.
Head back to where you began this hunt |

Night
Raid on Fort – Kevin
Pirates
need to work their way to the fort. If they make it in, the pirate
receives one gold coin to deposit in the pirate bank.
Pirates
deposit coins under their crew colour and try to go back for another coin. Bank
official records deposits of each crew.
The
crew that deposits the most coins wins.
Light
house search lights sweep the field. If caught in the beam standing up, pirate
goes to jail for 2 mins.
If
pirate tapped with a sword of a guard, pirate goes to jail for two mins.
Seven
safe areas are marked with green markers. Pirates safe from searchlights
and soldiers there.
Beware
3 guards with green markers
Pirate
must give their coin to guards when tapped with swords or jail guards when
caught in light. If pirate has no coin, then he still goes to jail.
Coins
must be bought from bank back to fort by bank runners.
