| February 4, 2006, Whispering Pines, Perth. The weather was overcast and mild, snow and ice conditions were extremely wet, with several inches of slush on the ice. Our activities included fire lighting with paint can bombs, toboggan pulls, snow soccer, ice fishing (closed earlier), tobagganing to the beach area, and lastly avoiding hypothermia. All in all the Cubs had loads of fun, got very wet, drank lots of hot chocolate and ate piles of hot dogs and cookies. |
